What’s Next? Creative Video Editing and Animation for the Museum of Cultural Dialogue
When the Museum of Cultural Dialogue in Kielce approached me once again with a new creative challenge, I knew this project would be something special. Their Museum Action, built around the question “What’s next?”, aimed to capture authentic reflections on the uncertain future — and my task was to bring these stories to life through editing and animation.
My Role and Responsibilities
For this project, I received raw video material documenting the event. My work included:
• complete video editing,
• designing animated elements,
• creating the animated event title,
• developing smooth transitions and 3D compositions.
My goal was to craft a cohesive and engaging narrative that not only documented the event but also enhanced its message through motion design.
Documenting Reflections on the Future
The final film goes beyond simple documentation. It captures genuine responses to the question “What’s next?”. Participants were invited to express their thoughts on large boards placed outdoors in a calm and reflective setting.
In a world shaped by pandemic uncertainty, political tensions, and global conflicts, the question of what comes next becomes deeply meaningful. The film reveals these reflections as a collective voice navigating today’s challenges.
Animation as a Modern Storytelling Tool
To give the documentary a contemporary feel, I used several animated techniques — from stylized title sequences and animated text to dynamic transitions and subtle 3D compositions. These animations enrich the storytelling, guide the viewer through the narrative, and emphasize the emotional tone of the project.
A Film That Encourages Conversation
By combining real human experiences with a modern visual language, the film encourages viewers to think, question, and reflect. It opens a dialogue about the future — personal, social, and global.
“What’s next?” is a story of uncertainty, hope, and the universal need for dialogue. I’m proud to have shaped its visual form and contributed to a project that inspires meaningful discussion.
